Who Tops the Hit List
Like Kip Moore says; “there’s something ‘bout a truck.” That holds true when it comes to the Ford F-250. It has replaced Cadillac at the top of the most stolen list. The new numbers from the Highway Loss Data Institute (and they know stuff) show that the Ford F-250 has bumped the Cadillac Escalade out of first place. The luxury SUV had been at the top of the list for almost ten years. The survey covers 2010-2012. Following the 250 are GM products; The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 crew cab, the Chevrolet Avalanche 1500, the GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab and the Ford F-350. The Escalade is relegated to 6th place.
In the most stolen car category the list is topped by the Dodge Charger, followed by the Mitsubishi Galant and the Cadillac STS.
AT the top of the list of least stolen vehicles; Dodge Journey, Volkswagen Tiguan, Audi A4, Acura RDX and Toyota Matrix are the leaders.
