When is a Bad Time to Put a Chainsaw in Your Pants?

Probably always. But especially when you think it's a clever way to try to shoplift one. Not kidding! It happened in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Guy goes into a lawn equipment store and is on video surveillance putting a $600 chainsaw down his pant leg. Employees gave chase as he left the store. I'm not sure how a guy with a chainsaw in his pants outruns anybody, but he ditches the saw in a wooded area and runs away. Ah, but then: He's arrested when he comes back looking for it. He claims he just wanted to return it to the store, as he had a change of heart. Maybe the next one he tries to steal that way will have a remote start and the employees can have some fun.
