What Really Flashed Across the D.C. Sky?

Was Heaven firing a warning shot to behave as the political season heats up? Well, it is a presidential election year after all.

Nope, nothing quite that biblical, but still pretty cosmic cool. The American Meteor Society says the big, bright flash over Washington, D.C., was a fireball. That's a really bright meteor. And a really hot, happenin' Pitbull tune, too. Anyway, witnesses to the Saturday night event say it was huge and very bright before it fizzled. Kind of like fireworks in January, huh?    DB
