Mother’s day is a great day to be a mom. It’s the one day of the year when moms get a little appreciation for all the things they do. Of course, just one day probably isn’t enough to really show moms just how you feel about them and how awesome they are.

To help all those dad’s out there out this year, I’ve compiled a list of things that mom really wants. You’re welcome dads.

Sleep in – For some reason dads can’t hear the child that is crying in the middle of the night or the child who wakes up before the crack of dawn. I’m hoping that at least for one day, dads can regain their hearing and let the moms out there sleep in.

No cooking – Not only does mom not want to cook on her special day, she also doesn’t want to clean up after cooking. Take mom out to a nice meal or if dad is really brave, he will don the apron himself and whip something special up for mom.

A little quiet time – Mom doesn’t want the entire day off, but a few minutes to read a book or take a bubble bath without interruption would be heavenly.

Fun time with the kids – Mom’s love to hang out with their kids. However, this usually entails watching a Disney movie or watching a sporting event. Why not have the kids do something mom enjoys on her special day?

Alone time with daddy – After all, isn’t that how mom became a mom in the first place? Thanks to a little alone time with daddy.
