What It’s Like to Kiss a Stranger

What do you think it would be like to kiss a total stranger? I’ve been married for a few years now, so I can safely say that I haven’t thought about kissing a stranger in quite some time. Though, I will admit that in my younger days, I did kiss a frog or two before I finally found my prince.

There is a video that has been plastered all over Facebook recently. I usually don’t watch videos, but when a certain video pops up multiple times, I will give it a little peek. After all, if most of my friends like it there’s a good chance I’ll like it too.

This video takes 20 total strangers and films them meeting for the first time and then has them kiss. It wasn’t quite what I expected.

Most were shy at first but took little time to dive right in. They are braver than I would have been when I was single. I guess you could call what they did brave anyway. Letting go of their fears and inhibitions for a moment to try to connect with a stranger in such a personal way would have been extremely difficult for me to do.

It was also amazing to me how some people could kiss so passionately with someone they had no relationship or history with. If you had just been shown the kissing part of the video, you would swear a few of the couples were in love and not strangers who had just met.
