What a Babe! Dog Saves Owner From Fire

We'll give today's Golden Biscuit Award to Babe the Brittany Spaniel of Pleasant Ridge Plantation, Maine. Her heroic efforts likely saved the life of her 73-year-old owner Herbert Hingley. Mr. Hingley is hard of hearing and was asleep when the smoke alarm in his house started blaring. He didn't hear the alarm but Babe sure did. She jumped on him and pawed at his face until he woke up and got out of there.

Sadly, the house was destroyed by the fire. But Mr. Hingley and Babe got out safe and sound. You gotta love those loyal, four-legged heroes. Steak or lobster tonight, Babe?
