It looks like Mother Nature could possibly be bringing December in like a lion, with two events in the next week.

The first is a winter weather advisory in effect for the Missoula, Bitterroot, Mission, Flathead and Seeley Lake areas. That is from 11:00 tonight (Wednesday) until 11:00 a.m. Thursday. For Seeley Lake it's from 5:00 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. Thursday.

The snow that is expected overnight could cause periods of reduced visibility and slick roads. Snow accumulations of a couple of inches are possible in the valleys and locations just a few hundred feet above the valley floors could see two to four inches.

Plan accordingly and drive with caution, fellow Montana drivers. It's nothing most of you haven't dealt with before. But we may be a little out of practice. There hasn't been too much of this to deal with so far this season. And stay with us for updates on what could be a fairly significant snow event at the beginning of next week.
