We Hope Lots of Montana Hunters Did This Well

Labor Day weekend ushered in opening day big game archery hunting in Montana. I haven't heard a lot of success stories, but I do know one good friend who was like a little kid at Christmas!

I wanted to personally congratulate my friend Mark Ward, The Captain of our weekly hunting and fishing show Friday mornings at Paradise Falls in Missoula, along with his statewide hunting and fishing program, The Montana Outdoor Radio Show, which airs 6:00-8:00 am Saturdays on our sister station, News/Talk KGVO. Anyhoo, Mark bagged a fine looking bull elk on his hunting trip to eastern Montana over the weekend.

I'm really happy for him, but we'll never hear the end of it!!!!  :-) I
