It was a good start Friday in the Can the Bobcats Food Drive. Lots of people stopped at locations around Missoula and dropped off food donations. The goal is to collect more food for the Missoula Food Bank than they do in Bozeman for their food bank. It’s the 14th year and Missoula has only won the competition once. I was at the Missoula Federal Credit Union at 3600 Brooks today and saw a lot of people stop by with food and cash. It was all very much appreciated. It was announced that the employees of MFCU gathered 630 pounds of food amongst themselves.  Sponsor Karl Tyler Chevrolet/Cadillac donated 12,000 pounds of potatoes, and Lithia/Toyota donated 3200 pounds of squash and cabbage. Daniel Williams delivered it and Lithia/Toyota manager Jeremy Nelson arranged it. We have until November 22 to Can the Bobcats, make a donation when you can.
