It has been a tough hunting season so far for yours truly. Over 2,000 miles I have drove in search of everything from antelope to elk. Still, I have yet to fill a TAG. But, hopefully with the snow flying and colder temperatures, this weekend will prove successful for hunters all over the state.

I am a firm believer of KARMA. Do something good, and good things will happen. For example, I feel that every piece of trash I pick up and pack out is scoring me +1 karma points. The same goes for a lot of outdoor enthusiasts around the state.

A group of hunters near Darby recently discovered a small bull elk, tangled in a barbed wire fence. They did everything they could to release the bull, and judging by the footage from NBC Montana, the rescue operation was SUCCESSFUL.
