Washington state is facing its biggest-ever wildfire crisis.

The so-called Okanogan Complex of five blazes now covers about 260,000 acres -- more than 400 square miles. Firefighters have the fires just 10 percent contained, and experts say they could burn for months. About 5000 homes have been threatened so far.

1250 firefighters -- some coming from as far as New Zealand and Australia -- are fighting the fires.

As always we send our thoughts and prayers with those battling these fires and the folks effected and evacuated from there homes.  (USA Today)
