Hey everybody! I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July!! Now it is time to go back to work and see what you might have missed last week.

The summer season may have officially started last week but the summer weather started a few days later. Temperatures were in the high 80s to 90s most of the past week. We all enjoy relaxing inside after a long day in the sun and so do the pets.

While most of us prefer to be inside cooling off, another way to cool down is go for a surf on Brennan's Wave on the Clark Fork.

Another great thing to do in Missoula with all the warm weather is to enjoy a little visit to Caras Park. From a beautiful stroll along the river for the adults, or a ride on the carousel and some play time at Dragon's Hollow for the kids everyone can enjoy the fun.

After a fun day at the park, why not enjoy a nice bike ride down to Ogren Park at Allegiance Field to enjoy some great Osprey baseball.

Because of the cancellation of the Southgate Mall's firework show his year, the Osprey firework extravaganza on Friday July 1st was the only public show this year. The Osprey won the game in front of a record breaking crowd attendance and celebrated with a great showing of fireworks.

Along with the fun of baseball on Friday evening there was also First Friday happening downtown. Many business were showcasing local artist and music was playing all over. Fact and Fiction bookstore took their own spin on First Friday and made an outdoor reading and coloring area along the road.

To start off the weekend excitement, the Big Sky Kartway hosted its annual Wild West Shootout. Racers from all over came to compete. Saturday was action packed night with beautiful sunset views!

The fun of the weekend carried on to Monday the 4th. There are so many great things to do in Missoula but there are also so many other towns close enough for beautiful day drives for adventures out of the city. Seeley Lake had its annual pancake breakfast, parade, and firework show. During the parade, the classic cars are always a crowd-pleaser for everyone from young to old.

Now that summer is started, even if it's not a weekend, Missoula is just always a great place to be! If you want to show us any of your fun adventures around Missoula, share them with us on Instagram or Twitter at @1075zoofm! We want to see summer in Missoula through your eyes!
