A woman in Pennsylvania saw a purple squirrel hanging around her home. When she tried to tell her husband about it he didn't believe her... that is until the little bugger got caught in one of their traps that they have set to keep animals out of their bird feeder.

According to accuweather.com, this is the third known sighting of a purple squirrel. However, in each case speculations were made that the squirrel likely got into something to cause the change to its coat, rather than it actually growing hair of such a color.
