Wal-Mart To Reduce Sugar and Sodium In Many Products

Great news for the public at at time with New Year’s resolutions are underway and many are wanting to drop those holiday pounds, Wal-Mart agrees to reduce salt and sugar in many of their products.

First Lady Michelle Obama has been campaigning to combat childhood obesity and is urging companies to make their foods healthier. She plans to join Wal-Mart executives today to begin the effort. But it’s not just what is in the products but the price of the products and where stores are location that will change too. Wal-Mart agreed to reduce prices on some of it’s produce, develop a logo for healthier items and build stores in poor area that don’t already have grocery stores.
