Victoria Beckham won't be revisiting her days as Posh Spice anytime soon.

While making arrangements to preview her autumn/winter 2018 clothing line at Fashion Week in New York City on Saturday (February 10), the 43-year-old fashion designer felt it urgent to address the latest rumor of a supposed Spice Girls reunion tour, which grew legs after the model shared a couple snaps on Instagram from her reunion with former bandmates Mel B ("Scary Spice"), Emma Bunton ("Baby Spice"), Mel C ("Sporty Spice"), and Geri Horner ("Ginger Spice") just a week ago.

The image seemed promising enough of a Spice Girls comeback in the works and the possibility of a tour in the U.S. and U.K. sounded a lot more hopeful after they followed up on the hype in a joint statement given to TMZ that teased “new opportunities” on the horizon:

"We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching-up and reminiscing about the amazing times we have spent together. We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for The Spice Girls.

The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together. We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of The Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations."

So what’s it gonna be, girls? Well, Posh has the answer, but it wasn't the one you were wishing for.

“I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour,” Beckham told Vogue plainly while getting organized for her NYFW presentation this morning (February 11). “It was so great to see the girls. We had such a fun lunch,” she added. “I still speak to them all individually, but for us all to get together was really lovely.”

Despite our broken hearts, and while a touring gig would have been the group’s first in nearly a decade, it’s still quite possible that the five-piece have something else in store for us in the future. In the form of new music, maybe? (Fingers crossed!)
