Unlikely Animal Friendship is Over

Gosh, yet another celebrity breakup! All the fans and social media just became too much to handle. The word from Associated Press is that Timur and Amur are through!

A couple of Russian media darlings, Timur the goat and Amur the tiger have separated. Okay their handlers separated them before something bad happened, even though that was actually the original intent.

The goat was placed in the tiger's compound a few months ago at the wildlife park near Vladivostok. They figured the tiger would soon kill and eat Timur, but something strange happened. The two of them tolerated and eventually befriended each other, prompting t-shirts, websites and lots of fans.

But Timur started to annoy Amur with its constant head butting, till finally the tiger grabbed the goat by its withers and tossed it. Zookeepers were able to get them in separate cages before it was too late, in the hopes that they can resolve their differences.

Both have hired attorneys, Petey the Parrot and Ella the Elephant should they need to take the dispute to court. DB
