University of Montana Glam Jam Cheer Competition Sunday

The University of Montana Cheer Squad will host the annual Griz Garden City Glam Jam Sunday, February 2.  This annual cheerleading competition brings in over 350 athletes and coaches, making it one of the largest cheer competitions in Montana, with teams coming in from many different parts of the state. Competition begins at 9:00 a.m. in Dahlberg Arena of the UM Adams Center and includes solos, duos, stunt groups and an All-Star competition. The event is open to the public. General admission tickets are $5, senior citizens, military with ID and kids 6-17 are $3. Children five and under are free. Parking is free also. Proceeds from Glam Jam benefit the University of Montana Cheer Squad, who will also perform. We're told mascot Monte will put on a move or two as well.  DB
