University of Montana Diploma Dash

Run forestry students, run! Well, okay, everybody can run in the Diploma Dash September 14th. This one is sponsored by the UM Staff Senate. Distances are 5K or one mile and you can run or walk. Entry fee is $20 for UM students and $25 for non-students. Kids 12 and under, stroller riders and leashed dogs are all free. Prizes will be awarded for best costume and most spirited runner. Entrants will also have a chance to win homecoming football tickets. The event will get started at 10:00 a.m. at the Van Buren Street Bridge.
