If you're shopping for something unique and creative and like to support UM students, here you go. Ceramic artist and student sculpture associations at the University of Montana School of Art are holding their 28th annual Art Annex Holiday Sale and Juried Show this week. The Art Annex is located next to the Adams Center on the UM campus. The event is free to attend and open to the public. The sale includes ceramics and sculptures created by students and faculty. The works will be juried for entry and awards. Proceeds from pieces sold benefit the ceramic and sculpture divisions of the UM Art Department for scholarships, visiting artists, student travel to conferences and wood for the kiln. Dates and times are Thursday, December 5th, 4:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, December 6th, 9 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 7th, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. If you have any questions you can contact the UM Art Department at 243-4181.
