Game notes for Griz vs UND Who?

•  Before they were the Fighting Sioux the UND team was called the Flickertails. That’s a common name for the Richardson’s Ground Squirrel, a kind of gopher, another common name is the Dak Rat…I don’t think they’ll be going back to Flickertails.
• This will be Montana’s second of three trips to Grand Forks to play football. This game is the second of a home & home series set up before UND became a Big Sky Conference member. The Griz will play there again next season. That game will be a conference game, the one Saturday will not.
• You can listen to the game on UM’s flagship station KGVO Radio, 1290 AM/KVWE 101.5 FM.
• You can watch the game on KTMF-FOX 23 & 42 in Missoula/Kalispell;  KWYB-FOX 18 & 28 in Butte/ Bozeman.  It was previously annonced that the game would be available on DirectTV,channel 623, but it will be blacked out in Montana.
• You can go to the biggest viewing party for the game at The Rally in The Valley in Caras Park. This will have it all; multiple big screen tvs, refreshments, food, contests and fun. Be a part of it !
