UM Students to Donate Money for Missoula Nonprofit Groups

A University of Montana class will be granting a total of $10,000 to local nonprofits. Could your group be a recipient? The class is Philanthropy and Social Entrepreneurship. The grants are intended to benefit local nonprofits and enhance the Missoula community. The minimum award will be $2,000 and the maximum $5,000 for each nonprofit selected. The class received funding from the Learning by Giving program. If you’d like to give your group a chance to benefit, you need to apply by April 12. You can contact Anrea Vernon, director of UM’s Office for civic engagement, at 243-5159 or andrea.vernon@mso.umt.edu. And good luck! DB
