Two Missoula men, James Paxton and Michael Scow, were arrested early Wednesday morning after allegedly burglarizing the clubhouse at Larchmont Golf Course.

According to court documents, Missoula police responded to multiple burglar alarms from the golf course just before 2 a.m. Officers entered the building and saw a cash register on the floor, and a surveillance video camera ripped off the wall.

Sergeant Jerry Odlin contacted two individuals as he was searching the perimeter. Michael Scow, who gave an address on Montana Street, and James Paxton. They were questioned and released, however, after officers viewed the surveillance video, they clearly saw two men, later identified as Paxton and Scow.

When officers searched the home on Montana Street, they found both suspects and placed them under arrest. Both men had approximately $250 in cash in their possession, the amount missing from the cash register.

Burglary is a felony with a possible penalty of up to 20 years in the Montana State Prison, and or a $50,000 fine.
