WE Fest, the world’s largest country music and camping festival, has changed hands.

Taste of Country parent company Townsquare Media, Inc. has taken ownership of the already massive event, which will only help it continue to grow. WE Fest welcomed roughly 45,000 country fans on each day in 2014 -- no surprise given that it boasts some of the biggest names in country music (past lineups have included Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Brad Paisley ... the list goes on) and an offering of more than 9,000 campsites. WE Fest was even nominated for Best Special Event by the Country Music Association twice.

WE Fest kicks off annually at the Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minn. Not only is it the world's largest country music festival and camping experience, but it has been bringing in country fans since 1983.

"We are very excited about the purchase of WE Fest," Dhruv Prasad, Executive Vice President, Live Events for Townsquare Media, says. "The addition of WE Fest to our portfolio of music festivals positions Townsquare Media as one of the leading country music festival owners in the United States."

Fans can without a doubt count on a lineup of top country talent in years to come. In fact, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley, Hank Williams, Jr. and Jake Owen are already on the books for WE Fest 2015, which will take place Aug. 6-8. Get more info here.
