A new study conducted in the state of California has come up with some figures that validate what a lot of people are thinking. Using handheld cell phones while driving is dangerous and if people quit using them there are more attentive drivers on the roads. California has banned the use of handheld devices for the past four years. Since then traffic deaths involving hand held cell phones have gone down 47 percent. Overall traffic deaths are down 22 percent.  I’ve tried to limit my use while driving and I’ve noticed more vehicles pulled over while they use the phones, good move. I’m going to start doing that, or just wait for a better time to make or take a call.
