The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula is hosting a free, public open house for everyone to see Missoula's historic 1912 electric trolley. Be among the first to climb on board and help celebrate the return of the our 100 year old restored streetcar. Mayor Engen and Missoula County Commissioners will be on hand as well.

The only surviving Missoula trolley ran from 1912 to 1932 from Missoula to Bonner. Missoula Street Railway Company served the area from 1910 to 1932.  The restoration project has actually been in the works since 1996.

So, if you want to expreience some amazing history, the open house is this Saturday, September 29th, from Noon till 5:00 at the Fort Missoula Historical Museum. But no joy riders, kids!  DB
