The Montana Tobacco Quit Line wants to give people a better shot at keeping their New Year's resolution to quit using tobacco. For a limited time, the Quit Line will offer six weeks of nicotine replacement gum, lozenges or the patch, up from a four-week supply that is normally offered. In addition, the Quit Line is reducing the monthly copay for Chantix from $50 to $25 for up to three months, and the antidepressant bupropion will be available for three months for a $5 monthly copay. The Montana Tobacco Quit Line is a free service available to smokers as well as individuals who use other tobacco products. Call toll-free at 1-800-QUIT NOW (784-8669). More info available on-line at www.tobaccofree.mt.gov.
