Eddie Rabbit with opener Crystal Gayle was my first ever country concert back in.....well, a long time ago! Eddie was not only a great performer, but an incredible song writer also, having written songs like Kentucky Rain for Elvis. So let's take a quick trip back to 1980 for Drivin' My Life Away!

And for the bonus quiz, who covered this song in 1998? Rhett Akins, for the movie Black Dog starring Patrick Swayze. The cover didn't have the chart success of the original, but I thought Rhett did one hell of a job and I actually like this version a little better with all due respect to Eddie.
