UPDATE - The three suspects in an early Friday morning burglary of the Joker's Wild Casino appeared in Missoula Justice Court via video before acting Judge Mike Frelick.

The three, Joel Vincent McConnell, Jesse James Kale Brown, and Tarina Ask, were all apprehended just after 3 a.m. after setting off a burglar alarm at the casino.

Deputy Missoula County Attorney Sean Donovan asked for bail of $25,000 each for both McConnell and Brown, due to the serious nature of the crime, in addition to their previous criminal history, however, Judge Frelick placed McConnell on $15,000 bond, Brown on $10,000 bond, and released Ask on her own recognizance.

McConnell was charged with felony burglary and criminal possession of dangerous drugs. Brown was charged with felony burglary, and Ask with felony accountability for burglary.

According to court documents, all three suspects entered the Joker's Wild Casino after closing time through an unlocked door. They searched the business for over 30 minutes before an alarm was triggered and the owner arrived to find the three suspects inside. Police arrived moments later and arrested them, and after questioning, they were transported to the Missoula County jail.

Missoula police officers and county sheriff's deputies apprehended three individuals who inside a local casino on North Reserve early Friday, February 7.

Sergeant Colin Rose said the owner of the business called 9-1-1 to report the intrusion

"Officers apprehended two adult males and one female without incident, and then used a the police K-9 unit to ensure there were no other suspects hiding inside the business," Rose said. "The three persons were arrested after investigation for burglary, and were charged with either felony burglary, or accountability for burglary, and were taken to the Missoula County Detention Center. The two males were ages 33 and 28, while the female was 21."

The three suspects will appear in Missoula Justice Court this afternoon to face charges.
