**According to a new survey conducted by the online travel site Cheap Air, the perfect time to get the lowest price on a domestic ticket is 54 days before your flight. Cheap Air did the tracking and found that from the time tickets for a flight go on sale - 331 days in advance - prices pretty much remain steady for about four months.
