These Bitterroot Birds Have Sushi on the Menu

"We Don't need no stinking barbeques!" That's what these birds are showing us during a hot noontime lunch date at the Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge.

The visiting American White Pelicans (above) are sampling the delectable frogs legs and ... all the rest of the frog, too.

Of course, Osprey are known for their fondness of fresh fish. This is today's "Catch of the Day."

But, you gotta have your "greens" for a well-balanced meal. And on a branch, every meal is well-balanced for this Kestrel.
