The Opportunity Resources Gala Was So Much Fun
On Saturday night at the Doubletree Hotel in Missoula the 2nd annual Opportunity Resources Gala took place. It was an incredible night fundraising for one of the most important organizations in Missoula. To be honest I learned quite a bit while I was there, I had no idea that ORI employs over 400 people. The employees at ORI are dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to lead independent and productive lives.
As you walked through the door you were welcomed by a group of wonderful people letting you know where to check in, which is where you got your auction bidding information and drink ticket. My wife (Savannah) and I decided on our meal, we both chose the Rib-eye, then proceeded to check out some of the auction items. There were dozens of amazing pieces of art on display and available to bid on. You can also support them by buying pottery from ORI directly at 2821 South Russel Street in Missoula.
Also, a big congratulations goes to Ray & Susie Risho for being names the winners of the 2017 Eva Amundsen Award, for their years of service to help ORI. All in all it was a fabulous night with some of the nicest people in town helping out a tremendous organization. I can't wait for next year!
