The Old Missoula Parking Meters Now For Sale!

You remember the times when we had the old standard parking meters downtown Missoula, you could put in a dime and walk away? You can now own a part of Missoula history and buy one of those parking meters. Whether you want one for an art project, or just want to charge people for parking on your property, now is your opportunity.

After just speaking with Will Greenway, in charge of Community Development for the Missoula Downtown Foundation I found out there are different meters and different prices to choose from.

A single headed meter without the standard galvanized steel pole will cost you $50.

A double headed meter without the pole will cost you $100.

A single headed meter with the standard galvanized steel pole will cost you $100

A double headed meter with the pole will cost you $150.

And finally they have some double headed meters with more of a vintage look and a nicer pole than the standard galvanized steel that are going for $200.

Although if you want to own a piece of Missoula history you better act fast, Will let me know that they have already sold almost to 20 meter, raising close to $3,000.
