The General Election Match-ups Have Been Decided

After Tuesday’s primary, here are the major match-ups voters will see in the upcoming November general election. For President, Democrat incumbent Barack Obama vs Republican Mitt Romney. For the U. S. Senate, incumbent Democrat Jon Tester vs. Republican Congressman Denny Rehberg. For U. S. Representative, Republican Steve Daines vs Democrat Kim Gillen. For governor, Democrat Steve Bullock vs Republican Rick Hill. For Attorney General, Republican Tm Fox vs either Democrat Pam Bucy or Jesse Laslovich. The race was still too close to call as of 5 am Wednesday. 

For Missoula County Commissioner, Democrat incumbent Jean Curtiss will face Republican Mark Brady. Get More details at the Montana Secretary of State website, which is linked here. Voter turnout in Missoula was just over 30%, while the highest turnout was 59% in Garfield County.
