Two Missoula teenagers played tennis for more than 60 hours in what may be a world record for the longest singles match.

Hellgate High School Seniors Sam Angel and Katie Martens  began play on Friday morning and stopped playing Sunday night after 60 hours, 59 minutes and 58 seconds.

The current record is 55 hours, 55 minutes and 55 seconds.

Before they become the new record breakers, it must be confirmed by Guinness World Records.

The match raised more than $7,000 in pledges for the Watson Children's Shelter. The match was the students senior project.
