Some of the top names in musical talent will be on stage Sunday afternoon on the University of Montana campus.  The Missoula music teachers association presents “From The Studio To The Stage” at 3 PM in the music recital hall.

The performers include nationally known piano virtuosi Margery McDuffie Whatley and Steven Hesla, as well as a solo by Stephen Adoff.  Jazz pianist Jodi Marshall will combine with clarinetist Bill Haffey, violinist Hermes Padilla Beltran and cellist Liliana Martinez Garzon. Paula Graves, Karen Woodgerd and Sharon Weaver-Knowles, who all teach both piano and voice, will perform a vocal trio number.

This an opportunity to hear the top music teachers in Missoula share their talents. Proceeds will help fund scholarships for young people to attend summer music camps and also benefit UM music majors who previously studied with an MMTA member. Tickets are $10 for adults and seniors and $5 for students and will be available at the door.
