Missoula County Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene of a shooting early Thanksgiving morning up Highway 200 near Bonner.

A neighbor of Markus Kaarma claims that she had a road rage altercation with the man who is currently headed to trial for the shooting death of foreign exchange student Diren Dede, and that the incident happened just hours before the shooting occurred.

Four people, including the gunman, were killed and 16 others injured in a shooting at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas Wednesday evening.  Fort Hood officials said the gunman was a soldier who had been receiving mental health treatment and that he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
