Country power trio Rascal Flatts made an appearance this morning on NBC’s ‘Today’ show as part of a superstar lineup leading up to Thanksgiving. The show was the first in this week’s Toyota Concert Series on the plaza at Rockefeller Center.
Rascal Flatts may have just wrapped up their summertime Flatts Fest Tour, but they are already looking ahead to 2012 and have announced their next headlining trek. The Thaw Out Tour is set to kick off on January 12 in Charleston, W.V. at the Civic Center Coliseum and will wrap on February 18 when they stop in East Rutherford, N.J. after visiting 14 cities.
Rascal Flatts are officially the newest members of the Grand Ole Opry! The trio was inducted into the Opry last night, Oct. 8, in a ceremony that was simultaneously celebrating the institution’s 86th birthday.
It’s been a pretty amazing decade for Rascal Flatts — they released seven platinum-selling albums and graced the charts’ top spots a number of times — but their latest honor might be the most meaningful of all: an invitation to join the Grand Ole Opry.
