Political Campaign Commissioner Jonathan Motl ruled yesterday that Missoula County Sheriff's candidate T.J. McDermott violated campaign rules by accepting in-kind donations and services from a local law firm without disclosing them.
As of 2:30 a.m. primary election results have Democrats Kirsten Pabst winning the Missoula County Attorney race, and Detective T.J. McDermott defeating the other two Democrats, Josh Clark and Bob Parcell in the race for sheriff.
37 year-old Michael Gauci was at first suspended from his job as a Missoula County corrections officer over an incident at Splash Montana where he allegedly videotaped two women in the family dressing room. Missoula County Sheriff Carl Ibsen announced Tuesday that Gauci has been terminated from his position.
