And before the Packers and Saints finally take the field for the first game on September 8, some of music’s biggest stars will celebrate the new season with this year’s NFL Kickoff Concert, featuring performances from Maroon 5, Kid Rock, and Lady Antebellum.

The Reverend Wendell Anthony says Kid Rock is not a racist, even though he uses the Confederate flag during performances. But a political consultant named Adolph Mongo says the flag is a symbol of hatred and racism.
