There’s one bar for every 1,620 North Dakotans. That’s according to analysis of U.S. Census Bureau business patterns data from 2011. That narrowly beats out neighboring Montana and puts North Dakota well above Minnesota, which ranks 17th. North Dakota also has the sixth-most liquor stores per capita in the country: one per 1,937 residents.

Draft magazine, dedicated to beer and beer only, has compiled their 2013 list of the best beer bars in the U.S. The list is 100 bars long and features a small write up on each one and includes some photos. I’m sorry to say no bars in Missoula or Montana made the list.
