If you have never strolled the path ways of the Missoula City Cemetery this is THE weekend to do it. Mary Ellen Stubb, the sexton, has put together the “Stones and Stories.” A historical tour of notables buried there. I’ve done this walk and you’ll hear lots of interesting stories about personalities in Missoula’s past. Volunteers in costume play the roles of these characters and it’s a family friendly event.

It’s also an opportunity to learn about the history of our community. Stones and Stories runs from12:30-3:30 this Sunday (10/28). The Cemetery is located at 2000 Cemetery Rd in Missoula. The event is free.

After that head down to Haunted Hollow. They’ve converted Dragon Hollow down next to the Carousel into a Halloween themed playground, fun for the whole family. Proceeds benefit the Carousel.
