Strawberry Crisis Sours New Year’s Eve Celebration

First we want to extend warm Montana New Year's wishes to the good folks of Harrisburg, Penn.The city has an 80-pound illuminated strawberry that they lower down the side of a local hotel, a la the huge crystal ball in Times Square. Unfortunately, the strawberry suffered major damage when it fell three stories during a practice run. We hope the hotel was able to repair or replace in time for the evening's festivities. The tradition dates back to 1989 and the same strawberry has been used for 10 years, so it has to be good! Happy New Year everybody! DB
