A large number of people visit Death Valley National Park, pull out a carton of eggs and try to fry eggs on the pavement or on their cars. Even though summer temperatures regularly reach 120 degrees, this does not actually work. Worse, it's leaving raw eggs and shells everywhere for the understaffed rangers to clean up! In that kind of heat the eggs are rotting and creating a terrible smell.

It's partly the park's fault since a ranger made a video showing an egg frying (in a skillet left out for a long time on a 127-degree day.) Here it is:
