Stamps Do a Solar Eclipse Before Your Very Eyes

It has never, ever occurred to me that it would be nice to be able to play with my postage stamps.

But I guess if the opportunity presents itself, might as well take advantage, yes? The U.S Postal Service has decided to cash in one of this summer's major events, a total eclipse of the sun.

Forever Stamps are available that actually transform when you touch them. With the help of a temperature-sensitive ink, your body heat can change the image of the blacked-out sun into the moon, then back again to an eclipse when you remove your finger. Pretty saucy sorcery just in time for the big solar eclipse on August 21. And I'm sure a must-have for every philantrop...er...philadelpit...phliateller...aw, heck, whatever you call stamp collectors!
