Friday night, September 29, the first official event of October's Sprinkle Pink campaign for the Aid for Mammography Fund at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital will happen at the Hamilton-Corvallis high school football game.

The early event will include hundreds of small pink footballs, which have been on sale at both schools this week and will be on sale Friday night at Haynes Field in Hamilton.

At halftime, the footballs will be tossed from the stands to a target on the field for some cool prizes.

The fans are invited to wear pink to the game, which is one of three "Spirit of Pink" high school games, with a football game in Stevensville October 13 and in Darby at a volleyball game October 21.

Pink pompoms will be given to early arrivals at the September 29th game, courtesy of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana and Quality Inn/Town Pump.

The Aid for Mammography Fund exists so every woman in Ravalli County can get a mammogram, whether they can afford it or not.
