Many of you in western Montana may recognize the name Cash Hyde. Cash lost a battle with cancer at the age of four.

His memory and legacy live on through the Cash Hyde foundation, which helps with financial burdens other families face when their children are fighting cancer.

The Sportsmen Against Cancer Banquet is an evening of family fun with dinner, bow and rifle raffles, elk bugling contest and lots more. It's coming up Saturday, June 25, starting at 6:00 p.m. at Orchard Homes Country Life Center.

The Cash Hyde Pediatric Foundation's mission is to create pediatric cancer awareness and assist families. The foundation also donates customized "Little Tikes" cars to children's hospitals across the U.S. One of the beneficiaries of Saturday night's fundraising efforts will 11-year-old Caden Puccinelli of Butte, whose challenges are heart-wrenching.

You can learn more about Caden and get all the information you need for tickets and activities at the Sportsmen Against Cancer website.  We hope you can attend and give. And our thanks to Mike Hyde for all the information and the opportunity to help promote this worthwhile event.
