Spokane Couple Escapes Dumpster Disaster

This story came to us from Spokane, and it sure could have turned out worse. A couple sleeping in a dumpster with their dog got tossed into a garbage truck. After the haul the driver said he could hear a lot of noise in the back of the truck and pulled over to call for help. Firefighters came to the rescue. It's about a five-foot fall from the lifted dumpster into the garbage truck, and other than some bumps and bruises, the man, woman and dog seemed to be okay. See, told you it could have been a whole lot worse. DB
