How does a first-of-its-kind printed ensemble in the United States sound for you history and art lovers?

A historic exhibit featuring a complete collection of vintage hand-colored stone lithographs will be on display at Traveler's Rest State Park, just outside of Lolo on U.S Highway 12. The exhibit opens Friday, April 5.

These pieces are from the work of Philadelphia artist Thomas Doughty, whose works from 1830-1833 make up what is included in the incredible exhibit at Travelers' Rest. It was in that era that Mr. Doughty turned his attention toward imagery that would appeal to American sportsmen. The exhibit  contains all 54 printed colored lithographs.
