The crowds will be gathering at Hamilton High School starting Thursday for the Class A Southwestern District Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament. There will be plenty of opportunities to see some great basketball action at Dale Berry Court at the school on Fairgrounds Road. Hamilton's Broncs and Lady Broncs have undefeated conference records and, along with Butte Central teams, earned "byes" in the Thursday opening round. They will play their first games on Friday.

Thursday:

  • 3:30 p.m. - (girls) Frenchtown vs Corvallis
  • 5 p.m. - (boys) Dillon vs Corvallis
  • 6:30 p.m. (girls) Dillon vs Stevensville
  • 8 p.m. - (boys) Frenchtown vs Stevensville
  • Friday

  • 3:30 p.m. - (girls) Hamilton vs winner of Frenchtown-Corvallis game
  • 5 p.m. - (boys) Hamilton vs winner of Dillon-Corvallis game
  • 6:30 p.m. (girls) Butte Central vs winner of Dillon-Stevensville game
  • 8 p.m. (boys) Butte Central vs winner of Frenchtown-Stevensville game
  • Saturday, the loser-out games will be played at both the Hamilton High School and the Hamilton Middle School (on South 5th Street), starting at 9:30 a.m. Then, at 3:30 p.m., all the action comes back to the Hamilton High School gymnasium, with the girls consolation game, followed by the boys consolation game at 5 p.m., the girls championship game at 6:30 p.m. and the boys championship game at 8 p.m.
