I was chatting with my sister the other day and she was raving about how delicious and how easy it was to bake cauliflower. She was telling me how much her kids loved it. She usually has a hard time (like most of us parents do) getting her kids to eat their vegetables. Apparently my sister’s kids love cauliflower baked like this so much that they eat it like popcorn.

You can also substitute broccoli for cauliflower in this recipe and it is just as good. I tried it out on my kids and they loved it too. So, the next time you want treat your kids with some veggies, give this recipe a try.

Simple Oven Baked Cauliflower

4 cups cauliflower flourets

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt

2 1/2 teaspoons pepper

Throw the cauliflower flourets, olive oil, garlic salt and pepper into a bowl and toss until all the flourets are coated. Scoop the broccoli onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the broccoli at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Be sure to serve this when it’s hot. The flavors are much better.
